The invitation:
My name is DJ Scottie, and I am professional photographer. I specialize in
high-fashion photography: runway-style couture, leathers, corsets, tall boots, high heels, etc.
I am looking for attractive, fashionably-hip female subjects here in Central
PA.
If you meet the above criteria, are attractive, fit, and agree to my "wardrobe requirements", then I invite you to apply for a
FREE photo shoot.
This is not an amateur operation or a scam:
If you're not familiar with my credentials, then you shouldn't be here.
I do not have time to explain or validate my efforts or willingness to provide my services for free.
What your photo shoot will consist of:
Most photo shoots are natural light, outdoors, in the Capital Region of Harrisburg. A
full portrait studio and location shoots are also a possibility, but require a lot more work, and are commonly reserved for "paying" subjects.
"Complimentary" shoots are usually scheduled for weekday evenings, or early mornings on weekends.
You are responsible for bringing your own wardrobe, footwear, jewelry/accessories, personal makeup and hair styling products.
A professional makeup artist will be available at the shoot, and will do complete makeup and/or hair for a pre-arranged fee.
You will receive two separate sittings or poses, each in a different outfit. Each
sitting or pose can also have different makeup and/or hair styles, based on available time.
To maximize productivity, your shoot will be scheduled with other subjects.
What you get, and how I make money:
Unlike my photo shoot packages, which include contact
sheets, an assortment of prints, and original images on CD-ROM; with the Complimentary Shoot I will give you a CD
of e-mail resolution (72dpi) images from your shoot. If you would like prints, original high-res files, or photo
retouching/editing services, all are available for a nominal fee. (For example, I charge $15 for a glossy 8"x10"
archival ink-jet print.)
Most "Complimentary Shoot" subjects spend about $100 afterwards purchasing prints and high-res original files.
More than half have scheduled a second shoot, either for themselves or for/with a family member. (I also do
traditional portrait photography as well.) But, you are not obligated to pay for or buy anything after the
shoot. The wardrobe requirements:
It's very simple. You get two sittings. For one, you can
wear whatever you like. For the other, you must wear an outfit that addresses my love for leather and vinyl apparel, boots and shoes with spike heels, and anything
else "fetish" in
nature, like corsets, fishnet stockings, etc.
(I am NOT a bondage or alternative lifestyle photographer. All of my shoots are PG.)
I just like
shiny. Shiny clothes, shiny footwear, shiny accessories, shiny lip gloss... (I think you get the point.) So,
in exchange for a free, professional photo shoot, you agree to wear one :high-fashion/fetish" outfit, of which I
approve.
Please note: I will not ask you to wear something that I do not believe can be photographed in a dramatic and
flattering manner.

As you can tell, my
shoots are relatively tame, and very, very tasteful. We will discuss and agree on the "fetish" outfit in advance,
and YOU are responsible for obtaining proper fitting clothes and shoes.
Most of the shoots I have done, the models
have purchased, worn with tags, and returned the items without incident.
How To Apply

please have a recent photo ready to e-mail to me for review. Upon receiving your
picture, a decision will be made, and you will be contacted if you are selected.
(Tips for submitting photos: At over $250 retail value, receiving a free
photo shoot is an honor. Take the time to borrow a digital camera, dress up,
primp and look good for a few full-body and head-shot only pictures. The more
pictures you send the more chances you have to be chosen.)
