This is the most comprehensive DJ compilation set ever produced!

This is a 200 CD set offering approximately 4,000 titles from the 50s through the 90s. The company is no longer in business and this is considered a very rare series to have. I have the original CDs scanned, as well as the CD Track Listings, and have entered the entire index by title and by artist into a Microsoft Access database & Excel spreadsheet for quick cross-referencing.

For convenience, I have converted the 200 CD set to 40 (320k) MP3 CDs.

I have a unique selection of rare 80s dance remixes. These are on vinyl, which I am ripping to CD slowly. Bookmark this page and check back from time to time to see updates.

ABOUT ME

I am a retired, old school DJ from the 80s. I worked in various clubs in New York City and on Long Island in New York, in the United States. I belonged to For The Record, record pool, which was and still is one of the best in the country, and received approximately 25 to 100 12" per week.

I have tons of rare 80s dance vinyl that I am ripping to CD slowly (very slowly).

I use a Stanton STR8-80 digital turntable running directly into the digital port on my laptop recording directly to a SCSI hard drive via Cool Edit (now Adobe Audition). I burn my CDs at 8X only, on diamond coat silver blanks.

Many of the services I have are out of print or out of business and therefore available for trade. I am constantly looking for quality retro remixes as well as discontinued and rare services from the early 80s through the 90s.
